What Blizzard has described

A progression system for repeat journeys: characters complete Legacy Challenges, earn shared points, and spend them in character-specific trees.

  • Legacy Points are shared across alts, while each character spends points separately in Legacy Trees.
  • The starting trees are Professions, Adventure, and Resourcefulness.
  • At launch, each character can spend up to 16 points; players can earn up to 65 Legacy Points at the start, with extra points contributing to a cosmetic reward track.
