What is Riverglades?
Riverglades is a new mid-level zone built from a previously inaccessible part of the original world. Blizzard describes it as roughly the size of Stranglethorn Vale and says it contains nearly 200 quests for Horde and Alliance players.
Its landscape is a rugged frontier of rivers, grasslands and trade routes, with struggling communities and old grudges built into the regional story.
The earlier What’s Next recap placed more than 150 of those quests across much of the mid-30s to mid-40s experience. The newer description is broader, not a published change to the level band.
Location and travel
Riverglades connects to the Burning Steppes, Redridge Mountains, Swamp of Sorrows and Badlands. Blizzard has not published a complete boundary map or overland entrance list.
A new Steamwheedle Cartel route starts in Tanaris and crosses the sea to Powderfuse Port. The port is the only named Riverglades hub in the checked sources.
Factions and threats
The region extends conflicts from its neighboring lands rather than isolating them behind a separate story. Blizzard names gnoll camps, new ogre threats, the Powderfuse goblins, the Twilight’s Hammer and the Brotherhood of the Horse.
- Powderfuse goblins are a new group tied to the port and travel route.
- Twilight’s Hammer appears in the region, but its quest role is not detailed.
- The Brotherhood of the Horse is named without a published faction or reputation system.
Released Riverglades screenshots
Blizzard released 4 images that can be tied to this zone in the checked recaps. The captions do not invent names for locations Blizzard left unidentified.

What remains open
- The recaps do not publish a full quest list, exact level gates, complete hub list, overland entrance list, or dungeon entrance details.
