In this article

WoW: Forever launches with nine new dungeons. Blizzard named them in the What’s Next panel and later corrected the level range for one of them, publishing the full bracket list.

The nine launch dungeons

Dungeon Level range
The Hall of Thanes 13–18
Ruins of Lordaeron 15–20
Excavation Site: Wetlands 24–29
City of Dalaran 28–33
The Drowned City 35–40
Krol’dok Stronghold 40–45
Alcaz Prison 48–53
Blackmaw Hold 55–60
Shaper’s Terrace 58–60

The level ranges come from Blizzard’s clarification, which Wowhead reports because the Krol’dok Stronghold range was listed incorrectly in some BlizzCon material. The What’s Next panel itself names the dungeons but does not publish the brackets.

What the panel says about each

Blizzard describes the dungeons as bringing long-discussed places in the original world to life: the Hall of Thanes beneath Ironforge, the Ruins of Lordaeron reclaimed by the Forsaken, an excavation above Whelgar’s Excavation, the City of Dalaran, Blackmaw Hold, the Drowned City, Krol’dok Stronghold, Alcaz Prison and the Shaper’s Terrace.

The Drowned City is tied to naga and pirates, Dalaran to magical trouble, Un’Goro’s Shaper’s Terrace to titan mysteries, and Blackmaw Hold to unsettling corruption.

Boss lists, loot tables and group-size requirements are not published. The brackets are a leveling aid, not a full dungeon guide.
